The 15th Hour
A lot had happened, a few unsettling things, a few crossed lines and a few too many misunderstands along with ignored texts and people. How drastically circumstances change people and how easily the bonds are broken! But like they say life goes on. Does it really though? Well, to ease the mind, it does move on, but the things will never be the same and going back to the way the things were is a practical impossibility.
The clock was perfectly aligned at the right angles; the hour at the 0° and the minute hand exactly at 90° if there were questions. There was a small box blinking at the bottom of the screen, something like a chat window. Upon clicking the blinking icon, the message literally read as two question marks.

A Beginning
He liked her the first time he saw her. It was perhaps an infatuation, or perhaps he didn’t understand what it was. He was a kid then. But then he started liking her whenever he saw her. They used to come across each other during family gatherings and the likeness always increased everytime they met. Then one day, he decided to tell her what he felt about her. It was now or never. So he had to tell her one way or the other. And he asked his sister to talk to her and tell her about what he wanted to tell. Perhaps the next-gen proposals were advanced like that or the other reasons are for the discretion of the imagination. But she said No.
