I am really sorry, I don’t know to make these lanterns. For this event, they actually got the ready-made lanterns.

But how do they float ?
But how do they float in the sky ?
The same concept involved in hot air ballon. I can give an overview.
They use candle wax in the centre supported by thin bamboo stick or likewise, covered with thin paper usually rice paper or something like that.
The paper is made in the shape of a cylinder and is covered in the top, the bottom of which consists of the wax support. So when we light the wax candle, it will generate hot air. Since hot air is lighter, it will float up.
